The Point of the Sword (TPOTS) leadership and management team consists of former senior level USG Federal Agents.

The Chairman is Jerald H. Barnes. A 37 year law enforcement veteran, Mr. Barnes is a retired Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Federal Agent. He has served as the USG Senior Law Enforcement Officer in charge of security for American Embassies in Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, and Benin. Prior to these assignments he was Deputy Chief of Security in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Assistant Security Officer at the American Embassy in France. During his diverse career with DSS, the Chairman was Agent in Charge assigned to the Dignitary Protection Division, Resident Agent in Charge, and the DSS Subject Matter Expert embedded with the U.S. Central Command responsible for coordinating crisis management issues and Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations within the 27 country Area of Operation for the battle command.

The remaining team members are all former senior level USG security personnel with backgrounds ranging from experience in special operations to intelligence.

Collectively TPOTS personnel have over one-hundred years of law enforcement and special operations experience in their areas of expertise.
