The Director of The Point of the Sword (TPOTS) is a 36 year law enforcement veteran at both the local and federal levels who has been cleared to the highest levels of the U.S. Government for access during his career.

The Director was previously employed for 23 years working for the U.S. Department of State’s, Bureau of Diplomatic Security as a Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Special Agent; he has now decided to direct his energy and experiences toward Africa.

The Director ended his USG career with the Diplomatic Security Service as the only DSS Liaison Officer assigned to the U.S. Central Command where he was the resident subject matter expert for the Bureau with responsibility for coordinating crisis management issues and Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations for U.S. Embassies located in twenty-seven countries.  The U.S. Central Command is the lead battle command at the forefront in the Global War on Terrorism!

The Director of TPOTS has extensive experience living and working in West Africa and is considered an expert on West African criminal issues.  He has extensive experience in dealing with 419 frauds and knows the process for filling a legal claim to recover fraudulently obtained assets under certain conditions (Togo and Nigeria only).  He has been assigned as the Senior Federal Law Enforcement Officer for the U.S. Government at American Embassy Abuja, American Embassy Accra, American Embassy Lome, and American Embassy Cotonou for a total of ten years working and living in these countries.  During his assignments and residency in the aforementioned West African countries as the Senior Federal Law enforcement Officer for the U.S. Government he has made many long lasting friendships and professional relationships.

The Director is a former Washington D.C. Police Detective and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, the Diplomatic Security Service Agents Association and he is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia and various JSOU courses.

 Lome, Togo

TPOTS founded its international subsidiary OMNYFLX S.A.R.L. with The Director and partner summer of 2007.  The Director is a former Foreign Service National and previous Supervisor of one of the largest sections at the American Embassy located in Lome, Togo.   After six years of dedicated and loyal service to the U.S. Government, The Director retired in 2007.

 OMNYFLX S.A.R.L. is the first security consultancy and risk assessment company in Togo.   The Director has extensive local guard management and training experience.  He was the Management/Training Officer for Intercon Security Systems when they won the American Embassy Lome local guard contract in 1998.   In 2000, The Director became a Supervisory employee at American Embassy Lome.  The Director was selected out of hundreds of highly qualified applicants to become the Surveillance Detection Coordinator, a senior level Foreign National position within the embassy.   The Director supervised the largest Foreign National section at the embassy for many years.  The Director has received extensive security training from the United States Government.  He has received the Bureau of Diplomatic Security’s Surveillance Detection Training focused on detecting pre-operational surveillance, route analysis, identification of attack points and red zones.  And, he also has a duo skill set,  not only is he an expert at detecting pre-operational surveillance and training but he is an expert investigator as well having attended the Bureau of Diplomatic Security Service’s Foreign Service National Investigator’s Course in Washington D.C.  The Diplomatic Security Service course provides all the skill sets for anyone to become an expert investigator and assist at the highest levels with personal security operations from doing advance security surveys to the actual close in personal protection.  To supplement The Director’s expertise in detecting pre-operational surveillance, he is the only known Foreign National supervisor to have trained two Surveillance Detection Teams on the continent of Africa.

A particularly noteworthy example of The Director’s performance during his career with the USG was when former President of the United States Jimmy Carter visited Togo during 2004. During this visit, The Director was the lead planner and responsible for determining road analysis and identification of all the “Red Zones” and “Attack Points” along the traveled routes.  During this visit he was also the Foreign National Liaison Lead with the Togolese host Government security officials which gave him high praise upon conclusion of the visit.

Odebra Trading L.L.C. is located in Tema, Ghana Community 11.  Odebra Trading L.L.C. was initially founded as Odebra Trading Enterprise in 1981 but in 2007 the business structure was changed from a basic trading company to a Limited Liability Company.  The company has been managed by its Director since it was founded in 1981.  The company focus is to support TPOTS operations and the importation of security related equipment for sale in the targeted West African countries.  The Director of Odebra was educated in both Ghana and the United States and has an extensive business background.  The Director has held various sensitive positions within the U.S. Department of State.  The Director has an inactive TS clearance which would require a simple update to activate if necessary.  The Director speaks several Ghanaian languages fluently and she has strong ties to Ghana both professionally and personally.

 Mr. Peter Okon is a Nigerian National and the former Senior Foreign Service National Investigator at the American Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria.  Mr. Okon is the TPOTS “man on the ground” in Abuja, Nigeria and he is strategically based out of Abuja where the seat of Government is located.

Mr. Okon was the Senior Foreign Service National Investigator at American Embassy Abuja from 1999 to 2006, during which time he supervised two investigators, one residential security manager, one secretary, first line oversight of a 100 plus man Nigerian National Police Detachment assigned to protect the embassy and a large foreign national team.  In addition, he was the Foreign Service National that coordinated all VIP or personal security visits to Nigeria with the host government security services.  During his seven years as the Senior Investigator, he personally coordinated two Presidential Visits, numerous Cabinet level visits, numerous Department of Defense visits by various military commanders and a plethora of Congressional Delegation visits.

Mr. Okon has an extensive security background and he is an expert in the investigative process and criminal issues with a focus on 419 frauds.  Mr. Okon speaks the following languages:
