The Point of the Sword (TPOTS) Llc. was established in 2007 with the vision of being a premier security service provider to Africa. The company specializes in providing crisis management guidance and risk mitigation to members of the NGO community and to the public and private sectors. In support of Executive Protection missions that take place on the African continent, TPOTS can provide the full range of security support to accomplish the protective mission or it can provide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct advance work or to assist the protective detail. TPOTS SMEs are both African Nationals and former USG senior security personnel. All African National SMEs have been trained by USG trainers in Executive Protection doctrine, and all personnel associated with TPOTS have lived and worked extensively on the African continent.
TPOTS excels at working in high risk environments on the continent and the challenges that are faced daily are always utilized as “lessons learned” for future missions.
Through TPOTS’ strategic alliances on the African continent, TPOTS SMEs have the capabilities to travel freely throughout the continent. TPOTS is the Service Provider that can provide professionals to conduct any type of investigation in a discreet and balanced manner.
All TPOTS personnel have been trained in 360 degrees of security doctrine by the USG and, in many cases, by other governments as well. If investigations are required, TPOTS personnel are SMEs in both Anglophone and Francophone security systems, and they have the experience, knowledge, and particularly the contacts to conduct any manner of investigation.
