The Point of the Sword Llc. (TPOTS) established in June 2007 is focused on Africa. The company was created by its’ founder, a former U.S. Department of State employee to provide 360 degree security on the African continent when retained and to import No License Required security equipment.  TPOTS utilizes an Integrated Security Plan (ISP) assimilating all assets into one cohesive unit to accomplish any mission.  The TPOTS ISP concept manages the flow of in-country criminal/threat information and intelligence via its network of local associates and contacts to provide clients with the most current in-country information available to ensure that sound risk management decisions are generated.

TPOTS specializes in Executive Protection and Investigations. All TPOTS assets are vetted, Government trained, and provided with additional training conducted by the Director. TPOTS assets are all trained up in Executive Protection doctrine. TPOTS assets can execute timely Advance, Hospital, and Hotel Security Surveys comparable to U.S. Government standards. For all protective operations, the TPOTS fly away teams carry the Emissive Energy Corporation INOVA 24/7, Liquid Emitting Diode multi function light. All assets have been trained up in Surveillance Detection which includes Route Analysis and the identification of Red Zones. For all protective missions, TPOTS provides a standard Threat and Political assessment for the country visited.

TPOTS partners and assets have over one-hundred plus years of security and business experience working and living on the African continent.  The TPOTS focus is “from Liberia to Nigeria”.  TPOTS resident foreign personnel are all former senior level Nationals that have backgrounds with a variety of African host country security services and are strongly knowledgeable concerning African based Anglophone and Francophone law enforcement agencies and their operational procedures.  TPOTS personnel do have intimate knowledge of most African in-country local law enforcement procedures which provides TPOTS with an edge filling the gap that visiting foreign based security company’s lack.  TPOTS integrates this edge into its’ ISP to ensure that valuable information which would otherwise be missing is collected, assessed for relevancy and usefulness to ensure that any missions whether it is Executive Protection, locating a missing person, investigating counterfeit branding or conducting a vulnerability assessment are accomplished discretely, with confidentiality, and with the most up to date in-country intelligence.
