The Point of the Sword Llc. (TPOTS) established
in 2007 is focused on customer service and providing
business enterprises and other organizations
with the information needed to maintain business
continuity and do business on the African continent
in a safe and secure environment.
The value added of our company is that for
new start ups especially, we are Subject Matter
Experts that have the experience and capability
to spot the importance of seemingly insignificant
details which when brought together will create
a three dimensional picture to provide clarity
to assist the Client make sound business and
security decisions.
TPOTS is keenly aware of the risk associated
with doing business on the African continent.
It is because of these risks such as financial
fraud and high criminality that we utilize an
Integrated Security Plan (ISP) assimilating
all assets into one cohesive unit to accomplish
any mission. Because TPOTS personnel are all
primarily former senior level African Government
law enforcement or banking personnel, they have
intimate knowledge of most African in-country
local law enforcement and banking procedures.
The intimate knowledge provides TPOTS with an
edge filling the gap that visiting foreign based
security consultants and company's lack. TPOTS
integrates this edge into its' ISP to ensure
that valuable information which would otherwise
be missing is collected, assessed for relevancy
and usefulness to ensure that any missions whether
it is Executive Protection, locating a missing
person, 419 Fraud, investigating counterfeit
branding or conducting a vulnerability assessment
are accomplished discretely, with confidentiality,
and with the most up to date in-country intelligence.
Our African National financial experts are
all former senior level African bank personnel.
with in-depth operational experience and large
networks. TPOTS personnel are familiar with
in-country banking for the continent and can
cut through the confusion if there is the slightest
appearance of any questionable financial practices
or provide transparency for those financial
transactions that are unique to the continent.
TPOTS ensures that the Client will be able to
make sound financial risk management based decisions
on all current and available in-country intelligence.
TPOTS has a vast network of African teaming
partners that have participated in US Government
sponsored training or were trained by their
respective Governments to adhere to the Rules
of Law. Practically all our teaming partners
have been provided additional training by the
USG through security assistance training programs
such as the U.S. Department of State's, Bureau
of Diplomatic Security Anti Terrorism Assistance
Program, the International Criminal Investigative
Training Assistance Program given and funded
by the U.S. Department of Justice, and by Other
Government Agencies.
TPOTS strongly believes in the words of General
Patton that "pressure makes diamonds".
There is no pressure that TPOTS personnel cannot
manage ranging from executive protection, to
locating missing persons, to evacuating personnel
in at risk countries.
